DBS Named SME Employer of the Year - National Apprenticeship Awards 2023

DBS are proud to have been announced as The BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, SME Employer of the Year at the recent East Midlands Region National Apprenticeship Awards 2023 held at The Grand Hotel, Mecure Leicester on Wednesday 11th October.

Now in their 20th year, the National Apprenticeship Awards showcase the diverse and growing range of sectors engaged with apprenticeships. The awards celebrate employers who fire up their businesss with apprenticeships, outstanding apprentices, and individuals who champion apprentices with passion.

The awards were open to apprentices, individuals who promote apprentices and employers of all sizes, from all sectors, with entrants asked to demonstrate the impact that apprenticeships have made to individuals lives and their workplaces.

Finalists have been described as apprenticeship exemplars, highlighting best practice across recruitment excellence, high quality training practices, diversity and career progression.

DBS will now progress to represent the East Midlands at the National Finals to be held in London on the 29th November 2023.
