About The Project:

Schneider Electric employed DBS as one of several sub-contractors to implement an energy saving scheme for the Trust Hospital.

 

DBS were responsible for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a new district LTHW heating system from a Dalkia Energy Centre out to several plantroooms which were also upgraded as part of the project.

 

DBS had to ensured adequate temporary heating measures were in place to avoid any disruption and ensure that the hospital remained fully operational while the installation and upgrade of services too place.

Mechanical Scope:

  • LPHW from boiler house to roof and KOB 49
  • Roof plant room KOB 49
  • Secondary LPHW circuits
  • Plant rooms
  • Removal of existing steam and condensate pipework
  • Temporary hot water generation
